Libraries, Ducks & Dinosaurs — Oh My!

Spring is coming — Right?! Warmer weather means more library visits and more reading adventures ahead. We currently care for 18 Little Free Libraries, and once the cold clears we’ll be out checking and maintaining each one. Donations of new and gently used books are always welcome to help keep our shelves stocked.

Celebrate Kayven is back for year 3, now at Field Station Dinosaur Park! This free community FUN-raiser supports KHH programs and includes games, kite building, rock painting, enrichment vendors, food, raffle prizes, free books for kids, and full access to the dinosaur trails. Everyone is invited. Want to help as a volunteer, vendor, or sponsor? Email CelebrateKayven@gmail.com or visit KayvensHelpingHands.org/events

Meet our new KHH mascot — the Epilepsy Warrior Ducky! Inspired by Kayven’s love of ducks, Ducky will represent courage and encouragement for kids living with epilepsy. He’ll be the face of Kayven’s Purple Belt Club and included in our upcoming Kayven’s Care Kits. The Purple Belt Club celebrates and recognizes kids with epilepsy as true warriors and helps us share their stories and strength with our community.
